Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS)
Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS) is an additive manufacturing process that uses a laser to scan and selectively fuse (or melt) the metal powder particles, bonding them together and building a part layer-by-layer. Using this method, ProtoZone can build parts with extremely complex geometries that include deep slots, free-form surfaces and coolant ducts.

At ProtoZone, we use the latest DMLS technology that has a bed size of:
- 250x250x300 mm

Materials we can print:
- Aluminum
- Stainless Steel
- Inconel 718, 625
- Maraging Steel
- Titanium Ti64

Post-Processing:
Painting, Post Machining, Polished Mirror Finish, Heat Treatment, Splitting and Welding for larger parts, Powder Coating, Screen Printing, Assembly.

Quick Facts
DMLS parts have almost isotropic mechanical and thermal properties. They are solid with very little internal porosity (less than 0.2 - 0.5%)
